CHILDREN'S MURALS
Children's murals are fun because it stimulates the child, their imagination and they get excited about their own room.
The mural can have a theme or not. The color pallet for a child's room usually is a bit more vibrant, however, the wall will harmonize with the color that are already in the room.
The mural can be something as simple as clouds and butterflies, a ribbon dancing about on all the walls around the room or just one wall to be a focal point. This would be discussed and established. By picking just one wall to be the focal point and a mural to be painted having a foreground, middle ground and background, the room would open right up, an illusion of space would be created. It could be a jeep splashing through water, a jungle scene with; a monkey handing from a tree, to castles and tea parties. Whatever the idea, sketches would be made and a firm idea established before painting would begin. At the mural's completion a clean coat would be applied for protection. |
